ØT (2005-10-24): Latest from Jan today was that they are trying to get their visas expanded a couple of days. It wasn't ready today, so they'll try again tomorrow when they get to their destination, if they can catch it (they have 1.5 hours from arrival untill the PSB offices closes, and need to arrange transport as well). He's gonna call the embassy in the morning for some advice/tips. Got to love SMS, the postcards of the modern age

ØT (19.10.05): Nice to hear that you got things sorted out and managed to cross into China/Tibet. Have to say, that picture from the microplane flight had all of us wishing we were someplace else... Look forward to seeing lotsa pics when you get hoommeeee (and get me some real chinese tea
SSM (2005-10-22): Hope you find a place with a bit less pollution. Your blog does not mention crossing into Tibet yet, since ØT mentions it, I guess you have spoken. Cheers.

JI: Huh. Minor upload barf, there. Let's see ... fixified. Gotta love filenames like "MOV00001.3GP" combined with no viewing capability. However, the laptop I'm now using has a program called "3gpfile" installed, which seems to do the trick. If you choose "Attachments" (who knows what that is called in Norwegian) from the drop-down menu, you can view a longer clip from the next day.
KEB: The 3gp file was kinda strange. You filmed the bookshelves? Woot woot
Nice to hear from you and good thing you weren't in south of Asia today. Love the photos - keep them coming
Have fun and greetings from Ranveig and me. bØ: 3gp-files can be watched with QuickTime. Oh, and thanks for some nice pictures. Not at all dreaming of taking such a trip myself...

- TJ: Stamp password? Hmmm... there are some things you cannot escape, even if you take a vacation in the far east.
- JI: Interesting typo, it was supposed to be "passport".

- KEB: Grattis med ny wiki da Jan. Her kan du skrive mye tull.
- Fred: Looks like a great trip! On the Yunnan page, I liked the map of "north-western corner of Yunnan" -- it gives a good overview of the Nepal-Tibet-Yunnan trip, I think (if I have understood the itinerary correctly :-).
- ØT: *Whine* *envy* *mumble*
Wik: Now it's a real Wiki. Have a good trip!
- AD: Høres ut som om dette blir en fantastisk tur :-). Husk å være forsiktig med hva du spiser.
- Ingen ting er verre enn magetrøbbel på en slik tur ;-).
